The glow of the Panda illuminated Lima
A million lights changed the routine of thousands of families in the capital. The Chinese-Peruvian friendship was strengthened with a colorful show. The esplanade of the Jockey Club of Peru housed the clear symbols of countries with millenary culture.
And in the Lawn Tennis the Spring Festival of the Chinese New Year 2018 was celebrated. Both countries strengthen ties of friendship and commercial relationship.
Two huge multicolored symbols synthesized the ancient friendship between China and Peru. A smiling panda and a friendly alpaca received thousands of flashes of visitors eager to perpetuate their images in the midst of these figures of colossal dimensions.
The display of Chinese talent and work in its splendor: a huge dragon sixty meters long. Oriental creativity resorted to kitchenware to surprise the visitor. Porcelain tableware consisting of plates, platters, spoons, saucers, tea cups.
The most recognizable icon of the Asian country pleased with its thirty thousand pieces wisely structured and with a set of lights that gave life to that dragon for almost three months of daily exposure in the esplanade of the Jockey Club of Peru, visible fleetingly for millions of drivers that traveled through the vital Pan-American South.

The children were also impacted by realistic replicas of dinosaurs. The movements towards of these antediluvian species were the cherry for curious infants. Also the emission of the grunts of each of these monsters were heard with throbbing attention.
If the powerful China, the Asian giant that is about to regain its historical world dominance, wished to give a fine sign of friendship to the Peruvian people, it can be said that it achieved its objective.
A live show captivated the assistant. Notable wushu kung fu practitioners demonstrated agility, plasticity and strength. Two beautiful ladies delighted in the ritual of the tea ceremony. An illusionist hypnotized the audience with his tricks.

The masterful representation of the change of faces - an imperceptible change of masks in full dance - was the finishing touch to close the program. The spectators were seduced by frantic movements, original costumes, music with auditory impact and quality artists.
China is moving steadily to consolidate itself as the world's leading economy. The samples of friendship and cooperation with Peru must be received as samples of an unusual cordiality of a power that can contribute to the transformation and modernization of the country.
CELEBRATION OF THE CHINESE NEW YEAR
As if that were not enough, the Chinese embassy celebrated the Spring Festival of the Chinese New Year 2018 in a big way. The activity was held in the Lawn Tennis Club of the Exhibition and brought together a vast representation of both countries.
The business manager of the Chinese diplomatic mission, Li Yun, sent a message of success in the Year of the Dog to Chinese immigrants, to academics and students in Peru, to Chinese language teachers in the Confucius Institute.

She remarked that they are integrated into Peruvian society and have lent their support to the areas affected by the natural disasters of 2017 during the late Year of the Rooster.
At the commercial level, the representative of the Chinese embassy recalled that in 2017 the exchange of both countries reached twenty billion dollars, with China being the first destination of exports and origin of the main imports from Peru.
He also stressed that China's investments in the country are around 18 billion dollars. A sum that can surely be increased by virtue of cooperation agreements and trade agreements to both nations.
